North East Regional Cancer Program

The Supportive Care Program is a group of professionals trained to help patients and their family deal with the psychological, emotional, social, spiritual, physical and day-to-day issues brought on by cancer. Supportive Care Services include education classes, support groups, nutrition education, psychosocial services which address possible shock, fear, hopelessness, depression, or loneliness experienced by cancer patients and provides counselling services as well a support for employment and financial concerns, physiotherapy, and speech language pathology for laryngectomy patients.
