Prostate Cancer Canada Network

The Prostate Cancer Canada Network is comprised of over 70 prostate cancer support groups from coast to coast. These groups provide services at the grass roots level, through monthly peer meetings, special educational events, outreach programs and presentations to service clubs, community health fairs and more. The goals of the groups are to educate men about the need for early detection and to ease the journey for those diagnosed. Group members and leaders do not give medical information but freely share their own stories. They participate in discussions facilitated by medical experts, and share knowledge about treatment options and advances. Most PCCN support groups meet monthly, with some groups having multiple meetings.
